WHAT 'DIVING TECHNIQUE
The technical diving stands out as a different underwater, versus immersion conventional commercial or research, leading divers beyond the limits of recreational diving.
It is distinguished and also includes one or more of the following characteristics:
dive to over 40 meters / 130 feet deep
diving in environments that go far beyond 40 meters / 130 feet below the surface
decompressions expedited and / or use of gas mixtures, variables during the dive.
From the moment in technical diving the surface is effectively inaccessible in an emergency, technical divers use extensive methodologies and technologies and training that, you can manage the increased risks. Despite this, however, the immersion technique has admittedly greater risk, potential hazards and less chance of critical errors with respect to recreational diving.
The prerequisites for the course TecRec vary (check on the descriptions of each course), but the following are applied to anyone interested in technical diving and you must:
Be at least 18 years of age
Being a mature, responsible that strictly and faithfully follow the procedures and conditions required.
Be in good health for diving techniques (requires the signature of a doctor for the physical state).
Be willing to accept the higher risks that immersion technique presents.
Being an experienced diver with at least 100 logged dives.
Being certified as a PADI Enriched Air Diver and PADI Deep Diver or equivalent (for this program equivalency is proof of training in recreational deep dive from 18 meters / 60 feet to 40 meters / 130 feet consisting of at least four dives and training about nitrogen narcosis, decompression programmed / emergency, making safety stops and air supply management OR, have a minimum of 20 dives deeper than 30 meters / 100 feet.)
The fun is in the evolution of TecRec continues its commitment when you stand to dive deeper and longer than any other diver ever did.
